This zinepedia is ‘a combination of the relaxed rules and informal guidelines often applied to zines combined with aspects of an encyclopedia that usually gives detailed information about a particular subject.’

Swords have a special place in my heart. When I think of a sword, I think of dreamy scapes and great adventures. Leading armies, going on a quest, fighting a dragon, defending the honour of a fair maiden. Think of a king Arthur like sword - straight blade with a decorated hilt. I am transported to a castle in England. Perhaps a ruin of an abbey. Ivy climbing up the walls, and the early spring sunshine coming through the windows. Or how about a curved chimitar? You’re a pirate, blazing across the seas; wind in your hair and salty air in your lungs, bound for a far away coast that promises riches.
